Toy Story 3 – Coming June 18, 2010!

I honestly can’t wait to see this movie. When the first Toy Story film came out, I was 7 years old. Toy Story 3 will be released less than one month after I graduate from college. But this time, it will be in 3D! Straaaaaaaaange. (I’m so excited!)

Here’s a video of a song called “Threads” by the band “This Will Destroy You”. These guys are just as good as “Explosions in the Sky”. If you haven’t heard of either one of these two outfits, I pity you and pray that God will have mercy on your soul.

South Park Watch (1208): Crank the Cynicism to 11

You have to love South Park. This past episode, The China Problem, was pretty controversial…as the show usually is.

George Lucas and Steven Spielberg literally raped Indiana Jones. Three times. And it was all shown in (semi)graphic detail. In one of the scenes, the terrible duo hunt down with  Jones with shotguns and make him strip. They proceed to rape him, while making him squeal like a pig. And it’s all told through the eyes of fourth graders. Classy.

Spiraling Beyond Control?

If you are in high school or college, the chances are very high that you will start directly feeling the effects of this economic crisis very soon (if you’re not already).

New Computer…Well, Kind Of…

Yesterday was the day when enough had finally become enough. My laptop had been driving me crazy for at least two months because it was SO SLOW. I couldn’t take it to class simply because I would miss at least 10 minutes of lecture before I would be logged into my profile. Maybe another five to open Word. So I have a lot handwritten notes this semester.

I took the “hunkacrap” into the Technology Learning Center here at Grove City College and (after about 24 hours of “Well, we can’t do that…”) got it fixed.

Now my computer is fast as lightning (relatively I guess…) and I am going to start reposting here on my blog.

Sorry for the absence! I’ll be putting up some of the things I wrote over the past month or so.

Kanye West recently released a new single titled “Love Lockdown”. As I was trying to find somewhere to listen to this new release, I saw that he has a new music video out. The music video is for his single, “Good Morning”. I watched it. Obviously. Check it out.

Advertising Isn’t A Four Letter Word

If you were to judge the initial reaction of a random person to the word “advertisement,” chances are it would be negative: “Drink Coca-Cola,” “Eat McDonald’s,” “Drive a BMW.” It’s not a rare occasion that I find myself thinking, “My life is ruled by advertisers.” Whether you are watching television, listening to the radio, or perusing the Internet, advertisements can be frustrating and annoying.
