Dem Convention Shows Rifts, Not Unity

2008 August 26

“Thank you.” That’s all the Clintons want to hear. Hillary wants the DNC to throw her a bone. Bill justs wants a 20 year old woman in his Denver hotel room.

But seriously, this election (not to mention the next 4-8 years) was supposed to be all about them. Now they’re being told “Get on the Obama bus or get left behind.” What the DNC doesn’t realize is that the Clinton family has kept them alive since the early 90’s.

With Hillary’s name up for nomination, don’t be surprised if this thrown-under-the-bus political machine (the Clintons in general I mean) pull some randy little stunt to upset Obama’s little party.

Are you suggesting that the Clintons would somehow undermine Obama? It’s a possibility though I would think that they’re smart enough to know that Obama (no matter what issues they might have with him) is still much better than McCain. Unless Obama’s image of being forward thinking and truly open to new possibilities is an act, I think that he would be a better alternative than McCain. I am just afraid that McCain would be Bush Part II. He seems to follow too many of the Bush policies. I don’t want any of that, which is why I’m for Obama.

The Clintons want Obama to lose and he does not see it and the reason he does not see what they’re doing is because he is so unexperience in politics. But Obama has asked for this the whole campaign. He should never had called Bill Clinton a racist!

    Rainer,
I love the Bill Clinton comment, too true!

As hard as they are pushing to get her name on the nomination, we were talking last night about how some outrageously crazy news would break about Obama and then she gets the nomination. Wouldn’t that be crazy? You never know, it’s not over with the Clintons just yet. Just watch and see!
